     Garland was born on 20 September 1908 at Clover, Halifax Co, VA.¹ Garland died on 13 March 1975 at age 66.¹

     Rosetta was born circa 1839 at Accomack Co, VA.² She was the daughter of Henry (of W.) Trader and Mary Belote. Rosetta was listed with another family in the cenus of in 1850 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA. She was shown as Rosetta Trader, age 11 in HH#960 headed by Edmund Trader, a 29 year old farmer. She was listed below Edmond's sons and since she was older than his sons, listing her below them would imply she was not a child of Edmond's. She was most likely Edmond's niece, the daughter of his brother Henry Trader of W., a 34 year old laborer in HH#1066 with Valentine Trader, a 47 year old farmer. No local record of her marring circa 1860 has been found, nor does she appear in the 1860 Acc Co census..² She was listed as a resident in the census report in 1870 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA. A Rosett Trader, 31, housekeeper, is in the household of James Darby in 1870. Her age matches exactly with that of Rosetta Trader in the 1850 Census..³ She was listed as a resident in the census report in 1880 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA. The 1880 Census gives a Rose Trader, white female, age 40, farmer, head of household/family 240/244. A Samuel A. Taylor died testate in 1879 leaving land to Rosetta Trader and saying Mary Trader "is to have nothing to do with anything that I leave behind she hant to live on it or have nothing I have in this world" (Acc Wills 1846-82, p. 618)..⁴ Rosetta reported a death on 24 November 1887 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA. It was on this date that Rosetta Tate(?), daughter of Henry Trader, reported the death of her father, who died of old age at the age of 72..¹ Rosetta died in 1917. Rosetta Trader died testate in 1917 (Acc Wills 1904-20, p. 493) unmarried, leaving "all my personal property to William Franklin Taylor, the son of John William Taylor, rasied by me." She also left him her land..⁵

     George W. Trader, aged 76 years, died at home at Hallwood on 8 Apr 1928. The funeral was at home by Rev. E.C. Wilmer with interment in the Baptist Church Cemetery at Messongo Bridge. Survivors were listed (E.S. News, 13 Apr 1928). George was born on 28 April 1852 at Accomack Co, VA.² He was the son of James Edmond Trader and Rose Ann 'Rosey' Marshall. He was listed as a resident in the census report in 1860 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA.¹ He married Margaret F. 'Maggie' Taylor on 23 January 1878 at Accomack Co, VA.³ George died on 8 April 1928 at Hallwood, Acc Co, VA, at age 75.⁴ His body was interred at Messongo Baptist Ch Cem, Acc Co, VA.⁴ Conflicting evidence states that he died on 29 April 1928.²

     Minnie was born on 2 April 1890 at Clam, Acc Co, VA.¹ She was the daughter of Isaiah Webster Justice and Margaret Susan Taylor. She married Russell James Small on 13 February 1918 at Pocomoke City, Worcester Co, MD.^1,2 Minnie died on 5 February 1981 at Salisbury, Wic Co, MD, at age 90.¹ Her body was interred at Nelson's Cem, MD-VA line, Acc Co, VA.¹

     Margaret was born on 6 March 1848 at Accomack Co, VA. The 1850 census puts her birth at 1846..⁴ She was the daughter of John Taylor and Catherine Killmon. Margaret was listed with her parents in the census of in 1850 at Jobs Island, Acc Parish, Acc Co, VA. She was shown as Margaret Taylor, age 4 in HH#1180, headed by John Taylor, a 44 year old farmer with real estate valued at $700. This was either on or near Jobs Island..² Margaret was listed with her mother in the census of in 1860 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA. She was shown as Margaret Taylor, age 12 in HH#500 headed by Catherine Taylor, age 49 and farming..³ Margaret was living in 1862.⁵ She married Isaiah Webster Justice on 20 December 1866 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ Margaret died on 8 February 1914 at age 65.⁴ Her body was interred at Nelson's Cem, MD-VA line, Acc Co, VA.⁴

     Alexander was born in 1884.¹ He was the son of Joseph W. Justice and Mary A. Miles. He married Reacie Collins circa 1915.^2,3 Alexander died in 1959.¹

     Reacie was born circa 1895. She married Alexander D. Justice circa 1915.^1,2

     James was employed at as a MD State Roads. James was born on 30 October 1920 at Pocomoke City, Worcester Co, MD.¹ He was the son of Russell James Small and Minnie Edna Justice. He married Clarise Marjorie Flenner on 27 March 1953 at Baltimore, MD.^1,2 James died on 21 January 1985 at Harbor City, CA, at age 64.¹

     Clifton Marshall was in the U.S. Army stationed in Florida at the time of his mother's death, 26 Sep 1944 (E.S. News, 29 Sep 1944). Clifton was born on 14 May 1915 at Pocomoke City, Worcester Co, MD.¹ He was the son of Alfred Kendall 'Ken' Marshall and Minnie Lee Byrd. Clifton was living on 26 September 1944 at Florida.² Conflicting evidence states that he died on 5 June 1952.³ Clifton died on 2 July 1952 at Brooklyn, NY, at age 37.¹ His body was interred at Downing's Cem, Oak Hall, Acc Co, VA.⁴

They were married by G.H. Ewell at the residence of James Topping..³ Sally died on 19 January 1925 at Mears, Acc Co, VA, at age 78.¹ Her body was interred at Old Messongo, Bapt Ch, Acc Co, VA.¹

Abbott was the security on the M.L.B. of Henry Chesser and Margaret Taylor.
