He married Lula 'Lulie' Byrd on 21 May 1893 at Mappsville, Acc Co, VA.¹ Robert died on 11 November 1961 at Patrick Henry, Nursing Home, Newport News, VA, at age 91.² His body was interred at Wessells Cem, Mears, Acc Co, VA.³

     Mr. James J. Byrd, aged 80 years, of Mappsville, died at the home of his son, Orris O. Byrd, on 7 May 1931. Funeral services were by the Rev. J.L. Price with interment in the Wessells Cemetery. Surviving children by both his first and second wife were listed (E.S. News, 15 May 1931).² James was employed at as a Sailor.      Nancy was born on 30 April 1871 at Sanford, Acc Co, VA.² She was the daughter of William Kendall Chase and Elizabeth Henny 'Hessie' Marshall. She married Erastus P. Poulson on 25 December 1887 at Accomack Co, VA.³ Nancy died on 19 October 1954 at age 83.² Her body was interred at Edgehill Cem, Accomac, Acc Co, VA.²

     Erastus was born on 22 October 1867 at Accomack Co, VA.² He was the son of Marion Jasper Poulson and Sarah Trader. He married Nancy Chase on 25 December 1887 at Accomack Co, VA.³ Erastus died on 24 February 1938 at age 70.² His body was interred at Edgehill Cem, Accomac, Acc Co, VA.²

     Sidney was born circa 1850 at Accomack Co, VA. He married Ocea (-----) circa 1870.¹

     Margaret was born in 1906.² She was the daughter of Thomas L. Mariner and Christine May 'Crissie' Bundick. She married Reginald Daniel 'Reggie' Marshall on 28 December 1921 at Pocomoke City, Worcester Co, MD.³ Margaret was living in 1948 at Messongo, Acc Co, VA.¹ Margaret died in 1974.² Her body was interred at J.W. Taylor Cem, Temperanceville, Acc Co, VA.²

     Lemuel was born circa 1800. He married Rebecca (-----) circa 1818.¹

     Rebecca was born circa 1800. She married Lemuel Hussey circa 1818.¹

     James was born circa 1790. He married Nancy Watson Watson? circa 1810.^1,2 James died in April 1817.³

     Americus was born on 4 January 1876 at Accomack Co, VA.² He was the son of Peleg Hussey and Drucilla Mears. He married Edna Pervilla Trader on 21 January 1897 at Accomack Co, VA. Miss. Edan P. Trader of Dreka and Mr. Americus V. Hussey of Belinda were married 21 Jan 1897 by Rev. E.F. Graner (Pen. Ent., 30 Jan 1897)..³ Americus died on 6 October 1918 at Newport News, VA, at age 42. Mr. Americus Hussey died of Spanish influenza at his home in Newport News and his remains were brought to Taylor's Cemetery for burial (Acc News, 18 Oct 1918)..⁴ His body was interred at J.W. Taylor Cem, Temperanceville, Acc Co, VA.⁵

     Colmore was born circa 1780. He was the son of William (98) Trader Jr..

     Sofronia was born on 12 May 1898 at Accomack Co, VA. She was the daughter of Americus Vespucius Hussey and Edna Pervilla Trader. Sofronia died on 2 December 1990 at Newport News, VA, at age 92.

     Edna was born on 1 June 1912 at Sanford, Acc Co, VA. She was the daughter of Americus Vespucius Hussey and Edna Pervilla Trader. She married Lyman Joseph Gray Jr. circa 1930. Edna died on 29 July 1993 at Newport News, VA, at age 81.

     This is the female, under 10, in the household of Henry Marshall in 1800. Since a female of this age was not with Henry in 1810, it is not known whether she died or was married by 1810. Since she did not join her father Henry in the deed of 1859 mentioned above, she must have at least died by then. Rachel was born circa 1798 at Accomack Co, VA.
