Polly, wife of George Hall, birth date, according to the 1800 Census, was between 1775-1785, which is inconsent with the birth shown here. Her birth here is based on being the mother of the male, age 16-26, assumed to be George Hall, in the 1800 Census. According to Acc Orphan Account, 1787-1805, p520 & p521, "24 Sep 1798 - George Hall orphan of George to Polly Hall, to board and cloths from 5 Nov 1796 until this time, 6.60 L (pounds)." Also on that same date, "Peggy Hall, orphan of George, to Polly Hall, to board and cloths from 5 Nov 1796 until this time, 6.60 L (pounds)." Also on that same date, John Hall, orphan of George, to Polly Hall, to board and cloths form 5 Nov 1796 until this time, 6.60 L (pounds)." Also on p669 & p670 of the same book there is a list of purchased items for George, Peggy and John Hall, orphans of George, up thru 31 Dec 1799. Polly was born circa 1765. John C. Hall is listed as an enlisted man in an Acc Co Company of Light Infantry, 2nd Regiment, as of 28 May 1825, commanded by Capt. Tully R. Wise. John C. Hall is listed as a head of household in the 1830 Census in St. George's Parish, Acc Co, age 30-40, b.c. 1795. He was the only person in the household. He was the only Hall in St. George's Parish at this time, all the other Halls were in Acc Parish. John C. Hall is by this court appointed guardian to Mary Ann, Eliza and John Hall orphans of George Hall, dec'd and he thereupon together with John B. Ailworth and Raymond Riley secruities thereto entered into and acknowledged a bond in the penalty of $1,000 conditioned according to law (Acc Orders 1832-36, p. 17, dated 25 Sep 1832). According to another entry on that same page, John C. Hall was the brother of George, the father of these children, and John C. and George were the sons of George Hall the eldest.
