Susan was listed with her parents in the census of in 1850 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA. She was shown as Susan Drummond, age 24 in HH#813 headed by Spencer Drummond, a 68 year old farmer..¹ She was listed as a resident in the census report in 1860 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA.³ Susan died on 25 June 1912 at age 86.² Her body was interred at Drummond Cem, Jenkins Bridge, Acc Co, VA.²

     Mary was born circa 1850 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ She was the daughter of William Robinson Drummond Sr. and Belinda Broadwater. She was listed as a resident in the census report in 1860 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA.¹

     Mr. M.F. Drummond died at Sanford on 15 Jan 1941, aged 84 years, survivors were listed (Pen. Ent., 24 Jan 1941).      Belinda was born on 31 January 1858 at Accomack Co, VA.² She was the daughter of William Robinson Drummond Sr. and Belinda Broadwater. She was listed as a resident in the census report in 1860 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA.¹ Belinda died on 17 January 1863 at age 4.² Her body was interred at Drummond Cem, Flag Pond Rd, Sanford, Acc Co, VA.²

     Hazel was born on 2 September 1910 at Accomack Co, VA. She was the daughter of William Spencer Godwin Sr. and Sarah Jane 'Sadie' Shaw. Hazel died on 28 October 1919 at age 9.

     Willie was born in 1903.² She was the daughter of Arcemous Thomas 'Sem' Bull Sr. and Anna J. 'Mary Ann' Marshall. Willie was living in 1916 at Sanford, Acc Co, VA.³ She married William Spencer Godwin Jr. on 24 December 1916 at Pocomoke City, Worcester Co, MD.³ Willie died in 1988.² Her body was interred at Downing's Cem, Oak Hall, Acc Co, VA.²

     Orvil, son of Spencer Godwin, age 5, died near Sanford of typhoid fever last week (Pen. Ent., 25 May 1901). Orville was born on 26 August 1897 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ He was the son of William Spencer Godwin Sr. and Sarah Jane 'Sadie' Shaw. Orville died on 14 May 1900 at Sanford, Acc Co, VA, at age 2.¹

     Mr. Finnie Hall Godwin, son of Sarah Jane Shaw and William Spencer Godwin Sr., died on 9 Dec 1948, aged 42 years, at his home in Wilmington, DE. Survivors were listed (Pen. Ent., 7 Jan 1949). Finney was born on 15 January 1907 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ He was the son of William Spencer Godwin Sr. and Sarah Jane 'Sadie' Shaw. Finney was living in 1937 at Wilmington, New Castle Co, DE.² Finney died on 9 December 1948 at Wilmington, New Castle Co, DE, at age 41.³

     Mr. Orville L. Godwin, died in Baltiomore on 15 Jul 1957, aged 56 years. He was the son of Sarah Jane Shaw and William Spencer Godwin, born and reared in Sanford. Survivors were listed (Pen. Ent., 1 Aug 1957). Orville was born on 20 February 1901 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ He was the son of William Spencer Godwin Sr. and Sarah Jane 'Sadie' Shaw. He married Delma Estella Read on 15 November 1922 at Pocomoke City, Worcester Co, MD.² Orville was living in 1937 at Wilmington, New Castle Co, DE.³ Orville died on 15 July 1957 at Baltimore, MD, at age 56.⁴

     (-----) was born circa 1900. She married Vivianna Tapman circa 1920.¹

     Winfred was born on 3 May 1913 at Sanford, Acc Co, VA.¹ He was the son of Thomas Littleton Godwin and Katherine May Martin. Winfred was living in 1945 at Sanford, Acc Co, VA.¹ Winfred died on 12 April 1985 at age 71.¹ His body was interred at J.W. Taylor Cem, Temperanceville, Acc Co, VA.¹

     Helen was born in 1910.² She was the daughter of Thomas Littleton Godwin and Katherine May Martin. She married Melvin Taylor on 19 August 1929 at at Somerset Bridge, Som Co, MD.³ Helen was living in 1945 at Mears Siding, Acc Co, VA.¹ Her body was interred at Groton's Cem, Hallwood, Acc Co, VA.²

     Granville was born circa 1914. He was the son of Randolph Tucker Williams and Miriam Corbin Godwin. Granville died before 1922.

     John was born in 1915 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ He married Ruth Taylor circa 1940.² John died in 1988.¹ His body was interred at Downing's Cem, Oak Hall, Acc Co, VA.¹

     Ruth was born in 1916 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ She married John A. Doughty circa 1940.² Ruth died in 1966.¹ Her body was interred at Downing's Cem, Oak Hall, Acc Co, VA.¹

     William was born in 1877 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ He was the son of William H. Shaw Sr. and Tabitha Martin. He married Susan W. 'Susie' Smith on 6 December 1899 at Sanford, Acc Co, VA. He was shown as William H. Shaw Jr., a 21 year old single farmer, the son of Wm. H. Shaw Sr. & his wife Tabitha and she was shown as Susan W. Smith, a 18 year old widow, the daughter of Wm. T. Smith & his wife Vetting(?) S..² He was listed as a resident in the census report in 1910 at Hammock's Road, Acc Co, VA.³ William died on 23 April 1931 at Sanford, Acc Co, VA. Mr. William H. Shaw, aged 53 years, husband of Susan W. Shaw, died at his home at Sanford on 23 Apr 1931. Funeral services were at Sanford Methodist Ep. Church conducted by the Rev. F.T. Fulcher. He was survived by 7 children, 3 sisters and 3 brothers, all of which were listed (E.S. News, 1 May 1931)..⁴ His body was interred at Downing's Cem, Oak Hall, Acc Co, VA.¹

Smith & his wife Vetting(?) S..³ She was listed as a resident in the census report in 1910 at Hammock's Road, Acc Co, VA.⁴ Susan was living in 1950 at Sanford, Acc Co, VA.⁵ Her body was interred at Downing's Cem, Oak Hall, Acc Co, VA.²

     Annie was born in 1902 at Accomack Co, VA. Her tombstone shows her birth as 1900 but Dana Barfield reports that she will be 100 years old in 2002..^2,3 She was the daughter of James C. 'Jim' Tapman and Emma H. Shaw. She married Royal Fletcher White on 27 July 1919 at MD-VA Line, Wor Co, MD.⁴ Annie was living in 1947 at Sanford, Acc Co, VA.¹ Annie was living in January 2002.³ Her body was interred at Knight's Cem, Messongo, Acc Co, VA.²

     James was born on 21 April 1914 at Oak Hall, Acc Co, VA.¹ James died on 3 November 1967 at P.G. Hospital, Salisbury, Wic Co, MD, at age 53.¹

     Andrew was born circa 1870. He married Elizabeth Richmond circa 1890.¹

     Elizabeth was born circa 1870. She married Andrew Picken circa 1890.¹

     John was born circa 1788 at Accomack Co, VA. He was the son of David Drummond and Sophia Drummond. John died before 1851.³

     This is the unborn child of David Drummond, which was mentioned in his will. (-----) was born circa 1796 at Accomack Co, VA.^1,2 He was the son of David Drummond and Sophia Drummond. (-----) died before 1851.³

     Drake Drummond's children are assumed to be by his first wife, but they could have been by his second wife. Drake was born circa 1718 at Accomack Co, VA.³ He was the son of John Drummond II and Amy Parker.
