     Richard Drummond II lived between Hunting Creek and Young's Creek. He was a Burgess from 1703 to 1705 and again from 1710 to 1715 (Doris Y. Stone). Richard was born circa 1692 at Accomack Co, VA. He was the son of Capt. Richard Drummond I and Anne Tilney.      Anne was born circa 1692 at Accomack Co, VA. She was the daughter of Lt. Col. George Nicholas Hack and Ann Wright. Anne was living in 1705.¹ She married Richard Drummond II circa 1712.² She married Alexander Buncle after 1732.² Anne died in 1770 at Worcester Co, MD.³ Anne's will was probated on 27 November 1770 at Accomack Co, VA.³

     Alexander was born circa 1700. He married Anne Hack after 1732.¹ Alexander died before 1770 at Worcester Co, MD.²

Richard was named in his grandfather's will on 26 March 1688. He married Elizabeth (11) Scarburgh circa 1688. To my son Scarburgh Drummond two good beds & furniture fit for them one to have curtains & vallians the other not. I also give my son Scarburgh twenty shillings. To my son Richard Drummond my plantation I now Live on including the half of Half Moon Island with appurtances thereunto belonging to him & his heirs for ever. I also give to my son Richard four Negros (viz) Summers Dick Hagar & Stepney and only the first child that the Negro Hager shall bring that shall live to the age of two years old. To my grandson Richard Drummond to him and his heirs lawfully begotten of his body & my will is that if my grandson should dye without such issue as aforesaid, that then I give the said child to my son Richard. I also give to my son Richard my still & all the apurtenances thereunto belonging ... To my grandaughter Elizabeth Drummond my negor girl named Sunter, but in case the aforesaid grandaughter sould dye without such issue that then I give the said girl to my grandson Richard, & in case my grandson Richard should die without such issue, I give the girl to my grandson Spencer. I also give to my granddaughter Elizabeth my smallest bed in the hall chamber & all the furniture thereunto belonging & half a dozen of new pewter dishes & a dozen of new pewter plates & a dozen of new pewter spoons & a peice of new diaper I bought of my son Richard & a peice of thred satin bought of Mr. William McEldo & a peice of fine calligoe bought of Mr. Andrew Dalrymple. To my son Richard Drummond five Negro's named as follows (viz) Lawrence, Robin. Bandy Bess & Ben and only the child that my negro Bess goes with. To my grandson Spencer Drummond my will is that my son Richard Drumond shall lend my son Scarburgh such nessesarys as he shall think convenient for his support & my will is also that if my son Scarburgh should marry & have lawful issue that then my son Richard to pay a young negro to each of three of his first children when they shall come to to age of two years old the said young Negro to be of the same age or thereabouts. To my son Richard Drummond all my personal estate he lending to his brother Scarburgh such of the same as he & my brother Hill Drummond shall think nessary for him. I do also constitute and appoint my brother Hill Drummond & my son Richard Drummond to be my whole & sole Executors. Witt: Hancock Nickless, Joseph Litchfield, Jacob Litchfield, Joachim Michael.      Although she was not named in either her father's or mother's will, her son Scarburgh Drummond was named as a grandson in her mother's will of 2 Jun 1719. Elizabeth was born circa 1671 at Accomack Co, VA. She was the daughter of Col. Charles [10] Scarburgh (I) and Elizabeth (3) Bennett. Elizabeth was named in her grandfather's will circa 1675 at Maryland. Gov. Richard Bennett named his grandchildren Elizabeth, Ann and Bennett Scarburgh and left them 2,800 acres on Pocomoke River and 2,500 acres on Wicomico River, eastern shore of Maryland..³ She married Capt. Richard Drummond I circa 1688. She was his 1st wife..^4,5 Elizabeth died before 6 April 1700. It was on this date that John Tilney named a daughter Ann Drummond, wife of Richard Drummond, and gave her 1 shilling in his will..⁶

     Robert was born circa 1684 at Accomack Co, VA. He was the son of Capt. John Drummond I and Patience Hill. He married Elizabeth (-----) circa 1700.² Robert died in 1718 at Sussex Co, DE.¹

     James was born circa 1682 at Accomack Co, VA. He was the son of Capt. John Drummond I and Patience Hill. He married Elizabeth (-----) circa 1700.² James died in 1715 at Jamaica.¹

     John was born on 21 March 1688 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ He was the son of Capt. John Drummond I and Patience Hill. John was named in his grandfather's will on 26 March 1688. John died before 1713.²

     Drake was named in his grandfather's will on 26 March 1688. Drake was born on 26 March 1688 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ He was the son of Capt. John Drummond I and Patience Hill. He married Rose (72) Thorowgood circa 1716.² Drake died on 11 June 1720 at Somerset Co, MD, at age 32.^3,2

     Stephen was born before 26 March 1688 at Accomack Co, VA. Stephen was named in his grandfather's will on 26 March 1688. He was the son of Capt. John Drummond I and Patience Hill. Stephen died in 1710.²

     Margaret was born circa 1671 at Accomack Co, VA.² She was the daughter of Capt. John Drummond I and Patience Hill. She married Edmund Allen circa 1690.³ She married Henry (6) Bagwell on 2 October 1711.^4,1 Margaret died circa 1752 at Accomack Co, VA.²

     Anne was born circa 1650. She was the daughter of Col. John Tilney and Anne Smith. She married John (22) Michael circa 1670.² Anne was named in her husband's will on 12 September 1684 at Accomack Co, VA. She was shown as wife Ann and given land where I live at Matompkin for life in the will of John Michael..² She married Capt. Richard Drummond I circa 1691.^3,4 Anne was named in her father's will on 6 April 1700 at Northampton Co, VA. She was shown as my daughter Ann Drummond, wife of Richard Drummond, and given 1 shillings in the will of John Tilney, Gent..³ She made a will on 1 April 1733 at Accomack Co, VA.      John was born circa 1652 at Accomack Co, VA. He was the son of Capt. John Michael and Elizabeth (5) Thorowgood. He married Anne Tilney circa 1670.² He made a will on 12 September 1684 at Accomack Co, VA. To wife Ann land were I live at Matompkin for life, except such part of the woodland as I have given unto some of our children to build & live on. To eldest son Joachim plantation at Nusswattox, being 400 acres formerly belonging to Richard Hinman, reversion to unborn child if a boy & if a girl to be divided between all my daughters. To son John 1/2 of a neck of land & marsh between Gattail Creek & Messongo Creek, the whole being 2,700 acres, 1,600 acres of which I bought of my father-in-law Lt. Col. John Tilney, reversion to my son Symon. To son John at his mother's death the plantation where I now live at Matompkin, being 200 acres, reversion to my son Symon. To my son Symon the other 1/2 of said neck, reversion to my son John, & 100 acres at Matompkin. To unborn child the balance of my land at Masongo, supposed to be 1,100 or 1,200 acres.      Robert was born before 4 July 1591 at St Clement Danes, Co Surry, England. He was christened on 4 July 1591 at St Clement Danes, Co Surry, England.¹ He was the son of Henry Drake and Mary Lee. He married Joane Gawton on 6 June 1622 at Merstham, Co Surrey, England.¹ Robert was present at Mary Drake'S christening on 30 October 1625 at Richmond, County Surrey, England.¹ Robert immigrated to before 1636.¹ Robert died before 8 September 1636 at Northampton Co, VA.      Joane was born on 17 November 1602 at Rygate, Co Surry, England.² She was the daughter of Thomas Gawton and Patience Best.      Patience was born circa 1624 at Merstham, Surrey, England. She was the daughter of Robert Drake and Joane Gawton.

     Robert was born circa 1726 at Accomack Co, VA. He was the son of John Drummond II and Amy Parker. He married Annaritta (-----) circa 1750.^1,2 Robert died in 1792 at Accomack Co, VA.¹

     Annaritta was born circa 1728. She married Robert Drummond circa 1750.^1,2

     Richard was born circa 1752 at Accomack Co, VA. He was the son of Robert Drummond and Annaritta (-----). He married Catherine (Hetty?) Milliner circa 1790.^1,2 Richard died in 1834.¹

     William was born circa 1795 at Accomack Co, VA.^2,3 He was the son of Richard Drummond and Catherine (Hetty?) Milliner. He married Mary Parker on 3 March 1824 at Accomack Co, VA.⁴ William was listed as a head of household in the census of in 1850 at St. George Parish, Acc Co, VA. He was shown as Wm. Drummond the head of HH#499, a 54 year old farmer with real estate valued at $1,700. Listed with him were the following Drummonds: Mary, age 48; Jno, age 19 and a sailor; Edw, age 17; Ann, age 18; Caroline, age 15; Emma, age 13; Augustus, age 9; Louis, age 7 and Joseph, age 5..³ William died on 3 September 1853 at First District, Acc Co, VA.      Mary was born circa 1802 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ She married William R. Drummond on 3 March 1824 at Accomack Co, VA.² Mary was listed with her husband in the census of in 1850 at St. George Parish, Acc Co, VA. She was shown as Mary Drummond, age 48 in HH#499 headed by Wm. Drummond, a 54 year old farmer with real estate valued at $1,700..¹ Mary reported a death on 3 September 1853 at First District, Acc Co, VA. It was on this date that Mary Drummond reported the death of her husband Wm. R. Drummond, who died of consumption at the age of 58 years..³

     John was born in 1830 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ He was the son of William R. Drummond and Mary Parker. John was listed with his parents in the census of in 1850 at St. George Parish, Acc Co, VA. He was shown as Jno. Drummond, a 19 year old sailor in HH#499 headed by Wm. Drummond, a 54 year old farmer with real estate valued at $1,700..² He married Clarissa Ann Guy circa 1858.¹ John was listed as a head of household in the census of in 1860 at St. George Parish, Acc Co, VA. He was the head of HH#1228, a 30 year old sailor. Listed with him were Clarissy Drummond, age 22; Mary A. Wallace, age 16; and Augustus Drummond, a 20 year old sailor..³ He married Elizabeth S. 'Bettie' Garrison on 30 October 1878 at Accomack Co, VA. He was shown as John H. Drummond, a 45 year old widowed farmer, born & living in Acc Co, the son of Wm. & Mary S. Drummond and she was shown as Elizabeth Garrison, age 23, born & living in Northampton Co, the daughter of George S. & Elizabeth S. Garrison. Although the record was recorded in Northampton Co, the marriage took place in Acc Co..⁴ John died on 2 July 1917 at Nandua, Acc Co, VA. Capt. Jno. H. Drummond died on 2 Jul 1917 at the home of his son, J.R. Drummond, Nandua, VA. The service was by Rev. W.L. Murphy with interment at Hollies Cemetery.      William was born circa 1784 at Accomack Co, VA. He was the son of Spencer D. Drummond (II) and Comfort Stockley. William was living on 19 May 1795 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ He married Elizabeth Matthews on 3 February 1823 at Worcester Co, MD.²
