     Thomas Hazard was a merchant of Newport, RI, who was a Loyalist during the Revolutionary War, being banished in 1780 and his property confiscated, fled to New York and in 1786 went to Prince Edward Island. Thomas was born on 22 February 1728.1 He married Mary (95) Bowdoin on 15 November 1746.1 Thomas died on 27 April 1804 at age 76.1

     Margaret was born on 28 February 1778. She was the daughter of Col. Thomas (400) Teackle and Ann Upshur. She married Thomas Littleton (97) Savage on 7 January 1796 at Northampton Co, VA.1 Margaret died on 28 September 1846 at age 68.1

     Col. Thomas Teackle was a justice of Accomack County, whose house was burned by the British in 1778. His common name was Thomas. Thomas was born on 11 April 1734 at Accomack Co, VA.1 He was the son of Thomas Teackle and Elizabeth (164) Custis. He married Elizaberh Upshur circa 1760.2 He married Ann Upshur circa 1767.1 Thomas died on 15 April 1784 at Accomack Co, VA, at age 50.1
