     John Custis IV, of "Arlington" Northampton County and of Williamsburg, was a burgess for N'hamp Co, 1705-06 and for the College of William and Mary, 1718, and a member of the Council, 1727-49. John was born in 1678 at Northampton Co, VA. He was the son of John Custis (III) and Margaret (25) Michael. He married Frances (24) Parke circa 1706.2 He made a will on 14 November 1749 at James City Co, VA.2 John died in November 1749 at Bruton Parish, James City Co, VA.2 John's will was probated on 9 April 1750 at James City Co, VA.2 John's will was probated on 19 November 1753 at London, England.2

She married William (49) Kendall circa 1707.2 She married Thomas Cable on 25 May 1723 at Northampton Co, VA.2 Sorrowful died on 11 December 1750 at Northampton Co, VA.2
