     Custis Thomas Smith was killed by a train in Hallwood, VA. Suicide? Custis was born on 2 July 1891 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ He was the son of James Henry Smith and Cecelia Fletcher 'Cecie' Hall. He married Lela Hitchens on 21 December 1910 at MD-VA Line, Wor Co, MD.² Custis was living in 1931 at Hallwood, Acc Co, VA.³ Custis died in 1941.⁴ His body was interred at Groton's Cem, Hallwood, Acc Co, VA.⁴
