She was the daughter of Samuel William and Clara Byrd Sparrow and a member of the Sanford Methodist Church and the Eastern Star. Survivors were listed (Pen., Ent., 13 Apr 1961).      Burnie L. Marshall, aged 52 years, died at his home at Hallwood on 14 Nov 1940. Services were at the Hallwood Baptist Church, where he was a member, by Revs. Clark and Greene on 17 Nov. Interment was in Groton's Cemetery. Survivors included a wife, 1 daughter, 1 son, 4 sisters and 2 brothers, all of who were named (E.S. News, 22 Nov 1940). Buren was born on 27 May 1888 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ He was the son of Alexander Washington Marshall and Mary Anna 'Mamie' Ayres. He married Virginia 'Virgie' Hall on 5 January 1914 at Modest Town, Acc Co, VA. He was a 26 year old sawyer and she was age 23..² Buren was living in 1937 at Hallwood, Acc Co, VA.³ Buren died on 14 November 1940 at age 52.⁴ His body was interred at Groton's Cem, Hallwood, Acc Co, VA.⁵

     According to Stella (Marshall) Northam's Thos Sharpley Hall Rpt, Fred Hall Sr. was killed crossing U.S. route 13 with farm machinery. Fred was born on 2 May 1902 at Hallwood, Acc Co, VA.¹ He was the son of Benjamin Franklin Hall and Sarah A. Andrews. Fred was living in 1927.² Fred died on 30 June 1969 at Hallwood, Acc Co, VA, at age 67.¹ His body was interred at Groton's Cem, Hallwood, Acc Co, VA.¹

     His common name was Nealie. Cornelius was born on 12 February 1884 at Accomack Co, VA.² He was the son of Benjamin Franklin Hall and Sarah A. Andrews. He married Pollie Rew Hall in 1908.³ Cornelius was living in 1927.¹ Cornelius died on 19 August 1964 at age 80.² His body was interred at J.W. Taylor Cem, Temperanceville, Acc Co, VA.²

     Conflicting evidence states that Pollie was born on 19 June 1888.² Pollie was born on 18 June 1889.¹ She was the daughter of Alfred Wesley Hall and Annie Ross. She married Cornelius 'Nealie' Hall Sr. in 1908.³ Pollie died on 29 June 1969 at age 80.¹ Her body was interred at J.W. Taylor Cem, Temperanceville, Acc Co, VA.¹

     According to Stella (Marshall) Northam's Thos Sharpley Hall Rpt, Dolly Hall became a deaf-mute after a bout of measles when he was a boy. He never married and lived with his sister Pearlie. Dollie was born on 2 February 1896 at Accomack Co, VA.² She was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Hall and Sarah A. Andrews. Conflicting evidence states that Dollie was born on 17 February 1897.¹ Dollie died on 29 September 1972 at age 76.² Her body was interred at Groton's Cem, Hallwood, Acc Co, VA.²

     A large crowd attended the funeral of Mr. Frank Hall at Hall's Chapel last Monday (Acc News, 2 Jun 1922). Benjamin was born on 12 March 1893 at Accomack Co, VA.² He was the son of Benjamin Franklin Hall and Sarah A. Andrews. Conflicting evidence states that Benjamin was born on 12 February 1895.³ He married Luzetta Mears in 1911.⁴ Benjamin died on 27 May 1922 at age 29.² His body was interred at Groton's Cem, Hallwood, Acc Co, VA.²

     Luzetta was born on 1 January 1895 at Accomack Co, VA.² She was the daughter of Jefferson Davis Mears and Luzzetta Woods. She married Benjamin Franklin Hall Jr. in 1911.³

     Rachel was born on 4 January 1921 at Wellbourne, Wocester Co, MD.² She was the daughter of Fred Haven Burroughs and Florence E. Read. Rachel died on 10 February 1987 at age 66.² Her body was interred at Groton's Cem, Hallwood, Acc Co, VA.²
