When "Babe" married the first time, they gave him a mule, a stack of fodder, a single plow and cultivator and stood for him to get furniture to start housekeeping. When he died he probably was one of the wealthiest men in Hallwood. He left his property to his nephews and nieces. Mr. William T. Hall and Miss Edith Ross, daughter of Edward T.
