Since he was the administrator of Thomas Fisher's estate, perhaps he had married one of his daughters. Shadrack had a wife Esther in 1817..³ Shadrack was named as administrator of an estate on 31 January 1786 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that Thomas Fisher's estate was administered to Shadrack Mears with William Andrews as security. George Savage, John Young, Henry Fletcher and Robert Small, or any 3 of them, were appointed appraiser.
