Parker, which said Edward and George are two of the children of the aforesaid Anne Turlington who was formerly Ann Parker as above mentioned, conveyed to the said John G.      Eliza was born circa 1817 at Accomack Co, VA. She was the daughter of James Elliott and Sally Kelly. Eliza was named in a land cause on 29 May 1833 at Northampton Co, VA. She was shown as Eliza Elliott, a child of Sally Rogers who after the death of _____ Rogers, her first husband, intermarried with James Elliott who also died previously to John T. Elliott. On 13 May 1833 Eliza Elliott conveyed to the said John G. Joynes all his right, title and interest in said estate..²

     Tilney was born circa 1750. He made a will on 1 October 1799 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ Tilney died in October 1799.¹ Tilney's will was probated on 28 October 1799 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ Tilney estate was settled on 29 June 1801 at Accomack Co, VA.²

     John was born circa 1782 at Accomack Co, VA. He was the son of James Wessells Sr.. He married Mary Peterson on 1 June 1805 at Kentucky.¹

     Mary was born circa 1785 at Kentucky. She was the daughter of Henry Peterson and Olivia Smock. She married John Wessells on 1 June 1805 at Kentucky.¹

     Thomas was born on 14 March 1812 at Marion Co, KY. He was the son of John Wessells and Mary Peterson. He married Sarah Ellen O'Bryan circa 1835.¹ Thomas died on 17 January 1884 at Meade Co, KY, at age 71. His body was interred at St. Theresa Cem, Rhodelia, KY.

     Sarah was born on 2 March 1812 at Marion Co, KY. She was the daughter of William O'Bryan and Sarah Padgett. She married Thomas Wessells circa 1835.¹ Sarah died on 3 January 1881 at Meade Co, KY, at age 68. Her body was interred at St. Theresa Cem, Rhodelia, KY.

     William was born circa 1780. He married Sarah Padgett circa 1810.¹

     Sarah was born circa 1785. She married William O'Bryan circa 1810.¹

     It is said that the Garrett Vessels house, torn down in 1976, was constructed from lumber sawed for Dr. Samuel O'Bryan, with a specification that there be no knot holes in the lumber. The house was located in Breckinridge County, KY, near Rodelia, now Highway 386. Upon the death of Dr. O'Bryan's wife, the lumber was acquired by Garrett Vessels by trading of two steers for the stack of lumber. The house and its ornate portico, including the carving, was built by the carpenter for a barrel of flour, and it was the first "sawed" house in the community. After the death of George and Martha Barr, quite young, Garrett was appointed administrator of the estate and guardian of the children; he later married the only daughter of the family, Emma Ellen Barr. Aunt Emma has been quoted as the source of the story that present day Rhodelia was almost named "Vesselsylvania" (apparently for Thomas Vessels woods), fortunately the name was changed to Rhodelia; the "History of St. Theresa," by Rev. John Lyons, says it was so named in honor of Elias Rhodes, an early Breckinridge County Catholic, who settled near Axtel, KY. Henry was born circa 1850 at Meade Co, KY. He was the son of Thomas Wessells and Sarah Ellen O'Bryan. He married Emma Ellen Barr circa 1875 at Meade Co, KY.

     Emma was born circa 1850 at Meade Co, KY. She was the daughter of George Barr and Martha Hayden. She married Henry Garrett Wessells circa 1875 at Meade Co, KY.

     Noah was born in 1884. He was the son of Henry Garrett Wessells and Emma Ellen Barr. Noah died in 1885.

     Peter was born in 1886. He was the son of Henry Garrett Wessells and Emma Ellen Barr. Peter died in 1946.

     Matthew was born in 1888. He was the son of Henry Garrett Wessells and Emma Ellen Barr. Matthew died in 1919.

     Claude was born in 1891. He was the son of Henry Garrett Wessells and Emma Ellen Barr. Claude died in 1892.

     Mary was born circa 1893. She was the daughter of Henry Garrett Wessells and Emma Ellen Barr.

     William was born circa 1895. He was the son of Henry Garrett Wessells and Emma Ellen Barr.

     Martha was born circa 1897. She was the daughter of Henry Garrett Wessells and Emma Ellen Barr.
