Born and reared at Assawoman, she was the daughter of the late Stacy Holland and Lula Holland. She was a housewife and a retired employee of Birdseye and the Shirt Factory. She was a member of the Downings United Methodist Church. Funeral services were conducted at the Fox Funeral Home, Temperanceville, on Monday 27 June at 2:00pm, conducted by the Rev. Norm Daugherty. Interment was in Downings Cemetery, Oak Hall. Survivors were listed (E.S. News, 29 Jun 1994)..1 Her body was interred at Downing's Cem, Oak Hall, Acc Co, VA.2

Mr. Williams is survived by a companion, Mayme Taylor of New Church; four daughters, Geraldine Hegwood of Bear, Del; Jeanette Foreman of Exmore; Rosemary Godwin of Sanford and Arlene Berry of Chincoteague; two sons, Ralph Thomas Williams Jr. and David Lee Williams, both of Sanford; a sister, Bessie Ball of Smyrna, Del; 17 grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren..2
