Annie was listed with her parents in the census of in 1860 at Lawsons Dist, Som Co, MD. She was shown as Annie Hastings, age 7 in HH#LA865 headed by Renastus Hastings, a 43 year old sawyer..² Annie died on 18 July 1874 at age 20.¹ Her body was interred at St. Pauls Ch Cem, Quindocqua, Som Co, MD. Her tombstone shows her as Annie Hastings, daughter of Renatus T. Hastings..¹

     Pauline was born on 20 June 1919 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ She was the daughter of John Wellington Mason and Mattye Croswell Hastings. She married Grayson C. Chesser Sr. circa 1943.¹ Her body was interred at J.W. Taylor Cem, Temperanceville, Acc Co, VA.²
